We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to help us, they gave a customized map of the area with all the hidden treasures on where to eat where to shop and what to see. Our room was comfortable and really nicely decorated, breakfast was served in a nice bar overlooking the Colosseum from the distance, it was not big but perfect to start the day with. The wifi internet really came handy for us to communicate with friends and family and upload some pictures at the end of the day. We ended up extending our stay by 2 more nights and luckily they had availability for us. Around the corner there is a park where every night during the summer there are live Jazz shows, the scenery was lovely the music enriching and you can dine or have wine out on the open while watching a show. Absolutely recommended!!! (Celimontana Jazz festival).
I wish I had few more days there :(

The B&B is on the 2nd floor of an apartment block. Our room at the front of the building was nicely decorated in a black and white theme and spotlessly clean and had all amenities you need (including ac and free Internet) . The kitchen was small, but we could make our own tea and coffee, which was a plus after our long walks in the city. We choose the Colosseum B&B because of its location in a quiet residential area two blocks from the Colosseum. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, which was another plus. We loved Hostaria I Clementini, the appetizers, like the fried ricotta, were especially good. Looking back at our stay I would surely recommend the Colosseum B&B to other travelers, because of its location and the value for money you get in this B&B.
Better, larger sign on the front of the building

My overall stay at Colosseum Garden was fantastic. The hotel's retro-themed reception and rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere. The location, right next to the Colosseum, was perfect for exploring the city. The nearby Metro stop made it easy to get around. I also enjoyed the complimentary snacks and the small kitchen area with an espresso machine. The breakfast, served at a nearby cafe, was delicious and included a variety of items. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

I visit Rome on vacation almost every year and have always stayed in B&B's. that is why I knew that this property will be a large apartment that has been divided in to hotel rooms. I prefer to stay in this type of properties because you can get the same level of what a hotel offers for much less money. The Retrome B&B was exactly that! a beautifully decorated and highly comfortable room and bathroom for half the price of a hotel in this area. If you expect a reception and a lobby, then it is not the place for you but if, like me, you want a comfortable clean room in a great location, then, this place is ideal. Brteakfast is served in a caffe near by and the area is very nice in the evening with many option for dinning and going out. I will be back to this one!

Room is not very large but it has all you need: good television, air conditioner, good bathroom and confortable. Modern decoration. Excelent location (2 blocks away from the Colosseum and the metro). Staff very attemptive and gentle. Check out until 11:00 A.M.
The hotel is in a residential building (the second floor is the hotel), there is no indication of the hotel. There is no elevator. There is no reception, you have to ring the bell for someone. Payment only in cash, don't accept credit card! The breakfast isn't in the hotel. You have to take it in a Caffe located 2 blocks away ( don't have to pay extra). However the breakfast was very good.

The value for the money was fantastic, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance to many attractions and close to the metro. The staff at the hotel, especially Maria, were incredibly friendly and helpful.
That there could have been more breakfast items available.

It was a convenient self-catering flat-let....very close to many restaurants and bars and to the Colosseum itself. The room was ready, basic but finctional...the bathroom was similar, and the only problem was with the flushing of the toilet....but we managed ok. The bed was very comforatble and the room was very quiet, despite it's location. It would not suit everyone...but it suited us.
It is not a hotel...just a small 'student-type' room/kitchenette and bathroom.....not luxury, but basic. Clean confortable and quiet. We are very flexible people. Easy to please and not quick to criticise....it would be easy to find faults here, but it met our needs and we managed very well. We would stay there again if in Rome....

The location is really great. It is not so touristic, so you can have a bargain in the restaurants, and eat like the Roman eats and not feeling like a tourist. We really liked the elegant design of the room we had and especially to orange tiles at the bathroom. Really cool. The room was very clean, and the air condition functioned really well, which was a blessing as it was very warm in Rome.

The hotel is located in a fantastic neighborhood, close to the Colosseum and within walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars, and gelaterias nearby, making it a great location for exploring and dining. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing great tips and assistance during our stay.
The lack of an elevator/lift can be inconvenient, especially for older guests or those with mobility issues.

Very helpful staff, clean room, 10 minutes walk to metro, safe location, cheap residence.
Awful building, feels like you stay in a deserted block of flat.

The hotel was a lovely base for enjoying a really quiet area, very close to Manzoni as well as a quiet residential area. Liked spotless and retro room with bathroom, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

The location is perfect. The place is quiet but 5 min from one of the most impressive and inspiring areas of Rome.
The toilet was not working properly, annoying. Also the lock of the door was not really ok but everything went just fine.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at a hotel near the iconic Colosseum. The location was great, with easy access to the Metro and plenty of dining options nearby. Our room was cozy and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The staff, although not always present, were helpful when we needed them. We especially appreciated the warm and comfortable atmosphere of the room. Despite a few minor issues like a faulty shower head and unreliable Wi-Fi, we still had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
